For communication that respects both form and content


Description
Communication, both verbal and non-verbal, is the basis of every relationship. Throughout our lives, we've learned what to say in this or that situation, but all too rarely how to say it positively and constructively, let alone how to say it to ourselves. This training course will introduce the basics of Non-Violent Communication and empathic/active listening, as well as some principles of hypnotic-strategic language. The art of punctuating communication with self-respecting listening and a quality presence to the other, sometimes even in silence, will also be introduced through the "meditative" posture.

Objectives

  • Identify in a communication situation what favors the relationship and what, on the contrary, provokes tension, resistance or even violence.
  • Improve your ability to welcome, listen and communicate verbally and non-verbally, while respecting others and yourself.
  • Be authentically yourself in relation to others.

Contents
Transmission of simple yet effective techniques to rediscover assertiveness by committing to overcoming resistance with others, in order to (re)forge the communicative alliance essential to genuine shared well-being at both professional and personal levels.
Develop the ability to perceive the underlying emotion behind objectively problematic behavior, and the unsatisfied need behind it, so that it leads instead to a realistic request that can be negotiated "amicably".

Methodology
Based on concrete examples of problematic professional experience, participants will be invited to take part in :

  • Practical exercises in communication and mental/emotional management
  • Role-playing and working in sub-groups to enable a better
  • Sharing experience in intervision/supervision

Dates
To be determined/at your convenience, subject to availability:
1) the trainer's other commitments to ifc, cecafoc, etc. BUT generally speaking, as a full-time freelancer, I have a great deal of flexibility.
2) your training centers

Target audience
Staff members of ordinary non-denominational full-year secondary schools.
Eventually, as suggested in a previous e-mail (see extract below), it would be ideal to be able to organize another group specifically and exclusively dedicated to management services.

None required!
Apart from kindness, enthusiasm and open-mindedness.
Note to participants: sincere commitment and active participation in the exercises are essential if this training and your presence are to benefit you and the group.

Duration
3 consecutive days, preferably residential
(if unfortunately this is not possible, this training can be given in 2 days or even 1 day)
(If possible, 1 or even 2 refresher and in-depth sessions, i.e. 3×3 days, would be ideal).
