Description
Creativity is a skill that can no longer be neglected in today's ever-changing world, which demands that we all continually adapt to new living conditions. School is still too often based on a stable society. The knowledge associated with it, and the traditional ways in which it is transmitted, seem to be a thing of the past. Post-modern man will have to be capable of adapting not only passively (rapid capacity to process an abundance of information) but above all actively. It seems vital that he be able to create (himself) in an original way from an increasingly complex environment that he will have to master - on pain of being created (manipulated) by the creations of others. To boost your creativity and that of your class, simple exercises that can be passed on to students will be proposed, such as Socratic dialogue, self-hypnosis, meditative letting go, spontaneous automatic self-expression (oral and written), flow state, brainstorming, etc.
Objectives
- Learn to go inside yourself to enable a deeper inner dialogue and thus better use of your own creative resources.
- Overcome your fears and imaginary limits, so you can "create your own life", especially when it comes to learning.
- Gain a better understanding of creative thinking and the factors that contribute to its development in different fields.
- Identify the conditions that need to be put in place to encourage creative thinking, and in particular to promote attitudes such as willingness to make mistakes and take risks, curiosity, hypothesis-building, self-confidence and openness.
- Develop tools/practices to stimulate students' creative thinking.
- Convey certain creative levers to staff members, and indirectly to beneficiaries/colleagues.
- Explore an ever-expanding range of different levels of creativity, in order to capture the "spirit of flow" and "creality" (e.g. "optimal & peak performance").
- Boost collaborative work and collective intelligence.
